The department tries to make class-room teaching more student oriented through group discussion and seminars. It also offers Remedial course, Communication course Soft Skills Development Program for final year UG students, Certificate Course in English Proficiency and Certificate Course in Communication Course.

अकोले तालुक्यातील अतिदुर्गम भाग म्हणून ओळखल्या जाणाऱ्या शेंडी भंडारदरा या ठिकाणी जनसेवा फौंडशन महाविद्यालय आहे. या महाविद्यालयामध्ये २००७ साली मराठी विभागाची स्थापना करण्यात आलेली आहे. शैक्षणिक वर्ष २००८ पासून विशेष स्तरावर मराठी विषय सुरु करण्यात आला. वैकल्पिक विषय, विशेष विषय असे विषय विद्यार्थ्यांना उपलब्ध आहेत. कला, वाणिज्य व विज्ञान विभागामध्ये मराठी विषयाचे अध्यापन केले जाते.
या परीसरामध्ये ठाकर, कातकरी, डांगाणी भाषा या भाषा प्रामुख्याने बोलल्या जातात. या बद्दल विद्यार्थ्यांना भाषेबद्दल माहिती दिली जाते. कवी, जेष्ठ तमाशा कलावंत यांना विभागामध्ये बोलवले जात असते. कलेबद्दल विद्यार्थ्यांना गोडी निर्माण व्हावी. विद्यार्थींनी वेगवेगळ्या क्षेत्रामध्ये आपले स्थान निर्माण करावे हा मराठी विभागाचा नेहमीच प्रयत्न असतो.

Department of Political Science was established in 2007. Assistant professor Mr. Anil Nivrutti Dagale is head of Department. Since 2007, Janseva Foundation Arts and Commerce College, Shendi (Bhandardara) has started General Subject in Political Science. The Department conducts different programs such as awareness raising program regarding voting, democracy, human rights, equality, etc courses are taught in Marathi medium.
